Who is Arend Jan?
Arend Jan is a 54-year-old man with a mild intellectual disability. He can communicate verbally and has a nice dry sense of humor. Arend Jan is a pleasant, quiet man who often keeps to himself. He always lived with his mother until a year ago. He now lives in a residential group for people with intellectual disabilities. He is very mobile and cycles every day from Apeldoorn to Twello, where he works at the Kruidentuin. He loves tractors and farm equipment.
What does Arend ask Jan?
Arend Jan is looking for a volunteer who would like to go on a long bike ride with him once in a while during the weekend. He has an E-bike himself. Afterwards, he also enjoys sitting together on a terrace to relax. The volunteer must also like cycling and a sense of humor is desirable!
