Summary
Els has a mild intellectual disability and has missed the fun around her since the death of her husband. Are you coming especially for her?Detailed description
Who is Els?
Els is a 74-year-old woman with a mild intellectual disability. She lived independently in Vaassen until 2021. Her husband passed away 3 years ago and she misses him very much. She now lives in a residential group at the residential care park of 's Heeren Loo. She has to get used to this. Sometimes it is a bit quiet in the house because the fellow residents are away at daytime activities. She misses someone to do fun little activities with.
Els likes to have a chat or go somewhere. She enjoys having a cup of coffee in our Brasserie, walking through the shops, but also driving a car together, taking a ride on the duo bike or doing crafts. She likes to make cards herself.
Due to her age, she has some difficulty walking. Outside she walks with a walker or on your arm.
What does Els ask?
Els is looking for a buddy who will come to her once every 2 weeks on Wednesdays or at the weekend.
Do something fun 1 on 1 for an hour or more.
Drinking a cup of coffee, having a nice chat, doing crafts, going to the shops, playing a game, driving a car, it doesn't matter; as long as it's fun!
Someone who can take her by the arm.
A man or woman doesn't matter.
A little humor is nice!
