Would you like to take a walk or play a game with our clients? Or do creative activities such as making music, crafts, swimming, baking or cooking? Then you are the volunteer we are looking for! Actually everything is fine. What matters is that the clients are happy that you are here! You will be surprised by the warmth and gratitude you will receive in return. This can be done with a few hours per week or per month with various activities.
Volunteers are of great importance to 's Heeren Loo. The extra attention you can give to our clients is a valuable addition to the care we offer. We therefore regard the efforts of volunteers as indispensable. By working as a volunteer you get the chance to mean something to someone. This is a valuable use of your time. Because of your support, our employees can fully focus on the care and guidance of the clients. It is clear that this produces happy faces with our clients. In fact, we can say that the use of volunteers improves care.
What do we ask?
A volunteer who wants to undertake activities with clients with intellectual disabilities between the ages of 5 and 40 years old. The clients still live at home and come to 's Heeren Loo to relieve the parents. Do you want to give these children a nice afternoon / weekend / holiday? Then contact us! We can coordinate which day you are available in consultation.
