We need enthusiastic volunteers for one of our residential groups at Het Hietveld in Beekbergen.Detailed description
In house 6 upstairs, six male residents live in the group and two in the apartments, all 60+.
The six residents in the group often spend time together and enjoy socializing in the sense of playing games, coloring, cooking/baking, watching films, listening to music, going out to a thrift store, petting zoo, MacDonald's, etc.
It is a very dynamic group with men who are almost always cheerful, all have humor in their own way and get along well with each other and supervisors.
Will you provide our group with even more fun?
What are you allowed to do?
- Playing games,
- To colour,
- Cooking/baking,
- Watching movies,
- Listen to music
- To the thrift store or petting zoo.
What are you bringing?
- Yourself!
- You have a calm appearance,
- You are clear, predictable and honest,
- You want to connect with our group and are reliable in keeping appointments, our residents are looking forward to your arrival!
- You have already been vaccinated or do not mind being vaccinated against Hepatitis B,
- You have experience or affinity with our target group (adults and elderly people with mild to moderate intellectual disabilities and intensive care needs, complex behavioral and additional psychiatric problems)
Our volunteers do not incur any costs. We are very happy with a (long-term) investment of time.
A good command of the Dutch language is a strict requirement.
