Summary
The paper factory is a training workplace where clients with intellectual disabilities make products for sale. They can greatly appreciate the help of volunteersDetailed description
Who are we?
The paper factory is located in the middle of the residential care park of 's Heeren Loo. This is a training workplace for clients with an intellectual disability, where products are made to sell. This is done on behalf of shops or other institutions and for the shop next to the paper factory; the Lookado. We make small gifts such as; papier-mâché vases, cards, flags, paper flowers, etc.
All clients who work there can do this (semi) independently. They choose from the available creative activities which skills they want to learn or maintain. They receive the desired support from permanent supervisors and volunteers. We are looking for volunteers who want to support a new group!
What do we ask?
We are looking for creative volunteers who want to support us with the new group of clients.
The skills are still new for these clients.
As a volunteer, you learn new skills together and help with the finishing touches of the products.
You don't have to be able to do all of the skills yourself, but it is nice if you are creative and enjoy making them your own. There is always a supervisor present in the group that you can fall back on.
Are you available 1 day or half a day per week from Monday to Thursday from 9:00 AM to 3:45 PM? Are you creative and do you enjoy learning skills? Then come and meet us!
We offer you
- A nice volunteer place
- An end-of-year gift
- Insured for third party liability and accidents
- Travel allowance
- Annual volunteer party as a thank you for your efforts
- Possibility of training and information meetings

taking a walk, playing a game or just having a good conversation while enjoying a cup of coffee.
