Summary
Linda is a woman with a mild intellectual disability, we wish her the opportunity to have a buddyDetailed description
Who is Linda?
Linda is a sweet 35-year-old woman with a mild intellectual disability. She lives in a residential group on the grounds of 's Heeren Loo, where she receives 24-hour care. She functions at the level of someone of primary school age. She is friendly and sociable, wouldn't hurt a fly, laughs loudly at the silliest jokes. But it also has a negative slant. The first sentence is usually; “It won't work out anymore.” Fortunately, this can be reversed quickly. She has no acquaintances or friends around her, but she does have contact with her parents. A buddy would be very welcome for her. Linda loves bocce! She loves dogs and enjoys walking with them.
Linda has an epileptic attack a few times a year, and the volunteer is trained in this.
She has a very friendly appearance, with a red wine stain on her face and big lips.
She does not experience any adverse consequences from this.
What is Linda asking?
We are looking for someone who will come especially for Linda. Someone who has a positive outlook on life. An open and friendly person with a sense of humor that suits her. Someone who can convince her that things without money are also fun, for example; Linda enjoys walking near the Leesten, but she finds it difficult to bring herself to bring money for coffee and cake. The trick is to make her enthusiastic that bringing a bottle of drink and a cookie can also be fun. So someone who can make choices and has patience with her.
Someone who comes by (according to her own wishes) to play with her, paint her nails, curl her hair, go out for dinner, take a walk in nature, shop in the center or a shopping center, play a game, drink a cup of coffee, play mini golf, encourage her on the jeu des boules association and much more!
Someone with a dog would also be great!
The day, frequency and time are in consultation.
