She enjoys being out and about and seeing things like museums. A visit to a city with an associated terrace is also great for her. She really enjoys it when someone comes to visit especially for her. She can travel with OV plus.

She sometimes suffers from mood swings and walks with a walker. Walking long distances is not an option because of her lung problems.

What are you allowed to do?

You are there especially for her and enjoy going out together. It is nice for her to do things outside her living environment;

• Downtown,
• Grab a terrace,
• Have a nice chat over a cup of coffee or visit a museum.

Everything is done in consultation.

Our volunteers do not incur any costs. We are very happy with a (long-term) investment of time. A good command of the Dutch language is a strict requirement.

What are you bringing?

• Conviviality and humor,
• You can offer closeness and empathize with the other,
• You have an affinity with our target group,
• But patience and support are also important.
