Pacemaker wanted! (Beekbergen)

The residents of house 6 downstairs are a bit more private, the youngest is 47 years old, the oldest is 64 years old. They need individual attention and individual activities outside the field.

What everyone likes to do: go to the thrift store or garden center, eat an ice cream, cook, walk, or even go shopping. Every time you are there you will consult with the supervisor about which resident you are going to do what with.

A number of residents do enjoy doing something together, so you may want to do something fun with a few residents at the same time. Of course, everything is done in consultation with you.

It also varies per person to what extent the hustle and bustle can be avoided, but it is preferable to do something during quiet moments. A number of residents have and love humor, but of course they are all different in character and that is why it is nice that you know how to adapt to the person who is with you.

What are you allowed to do?

• To the thrift store or garden center,
• eating ice cream,
• To cook,
• To walk,
• Shopping.

What are you bringing?

• Yourself!
• You have a calm appearance,
• You are clear, predictable and honest,
• You want to connect with our group and are reliable in keeping appointments, our residents are looking forward to your arrival!
• You have already been vaccinated or do not mind being vaccinated against Hepatitis B,
• You have experience or affinity with our target group (adults and elderly people with mild to moderate intellectual disabilities and intensive care needs, complex behavioral and additional psychiatric problems)

Our volunteers do not incur any costs. We are very happy with a (long-term) investment of time.

A good command of the Dutch language is a strict requirement.
