More than a year ago, The Gym set up a Boxing Club in collaboration with the Klup Apeldoorn. Here, René trains a super enthusiastic group of people with an intellectual disability every week.
Due to success, we will expand the training. On Sundays we train from 10:00-11:00. We are looking for a volunteer who supports the trainer and guides the people. It involves encouraging, helping with counting, giving short instructions and ensuring a pleasant and safe atmosphere. Where and When:
Every Sunday from 10.00-11.00 The Gym, Jean Monnet Park.
We ask:
• Affinity with people with intellectual (multiple) disabilities
• Supervision of the Boxing Club
• Flexibility and sportsmanship in dealing with our participants
