Summary
Just having a cup of coffee or going to the Intratuin is of great added value for FemmieDetailed description
Who is Femmie?
Femmie is a 73-year-old woman with a severe intellectual disability. She lives in a residential group at the residential care park of 's Heeren Loo where she receives 24-hour care. She functions at an infant/toddler level and does not talk. You can hear through sounds whether she likes something or not. She often lives in her own world. If you call her or contact her, she can laugh at you and look at you. If she doesn't want something, she can make this clear by pushing you away or yelling. She enjoys taking a walk through our residential care park, having a cup of coffee in our Brasserie, going to the Intratuin or going to activities that 's Heeren Loo organizes such as the Christmas market or the arrival of Sinterklaas. Because of her intellectual disability, she needs closeness in this regard. Femmie has epilepsy. During the day she goes to a daytime activity center that focuses on atmosphere, experience and walking.
