An inspiring (work) place for you and the children
At St. Alexanderschool, children are given every opportunity to develop to their own ability. They do this with ambitious education, by building a solid foundation and by focusing on broad development. In this, the Catholic identity is the source of inspiration.
As a volunteer, you make sure that children can relax, laugh and have fun during their break. You are the one who makes their day just that little bit more fun. Whether it is a helping hand during lunch, fun games afterwards, or support with other tasks, your presence makes the difference!
Contribute to the school experience of children and give them the break they deserve! With your efforts you ensure a safe, fun and relaxing moment in the day. This makes a world of difference for both the children and the team. It is important that you have a good command of the Dutch language, so that you can easily communicate with the children and your colleagues.
Working days and times
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday between 11:45 and 13:15.
- We will discuss in advance which days you are available.
- You are free during the school holidays!

- You will receive a volunteer allowance of €11,- per time. A nice bonus while you are doing something meaningful!
- You will join a warm, friendly team with enthusiastic colleagues who, like you, are committed to the well-being of children.
- Every year we organize a team outing, so that there is enough time for relaxation and fun together.
- Trainings to develop your skills, for example in the field of communication and game guidance. This way you can grow in your role and make a difference not only for the children, but also for yourself.
