Summary
We are looking for a volunteer to visit one of our residents (a lady with dementia) on a weekly basis.Detailed description
The lady has no social contacts because she has lived in Greece for a long time. The lady has a visiting volunteer, but she has to stop, so we are looking for a buddy/volunteer who wants to visit this lady every week.
What are you going to do?
The lady likes to have a nice chat, drink coffee together, have someone who pays attention to her and wants to take her for a walk every now and then.
What do we ask of you?
You are friendly and patient, you master the Dutch language and are able to push the wheelchair.
What do we have to offer you?
- You are entitled to travel expenses (from 5 km one way). - You are insured. - You will receive a present from the Opella employee during the month. - You will receive the end-of-year gift around Christmas. - You can follow training.
What makes the work worth it?
The resident will be grateful for your attention, help and care. You will go home with a satisfied feeling.
Working time
in consultation, not on Monday morning.
