During the school weeks we have a cooking club for neighborhood children every Monday afternoon from 3 to 4:30 PM. Due to the preparation and clean-up, we will be here from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM.
A maximum of 25 children can participate at a time. We divide this group in two. One half will cook, the other will do an active activity. We switch halfway through and when we are done we all eat what we have cooked.
As a cooking club volunteer, you are expected to help supervise the kids, set up and clean up the activity. You also have input into what we cook (we cook vegetarian and mainly healthy) and what kind of sporting activity we will do.
