Summary
Corrie has an intellectual disability. She thinks it would be nice if someone came especially for her to do some shopping or have coffee.Detailed description
Who is Corrie?
Corrie is a 65 year old woman with a mild intellectual disability. She has been living in a residential group within the residential care park of 's Heeren Loo for 4 years. Before that she lived with her mother. The residential group focuses on guidance. Apart from her boyfriend, Corrie has no social contacts. But she does enjoy doing things outside the home, such as; drinking coffee somewhere, shopping, but also having visitors, listening to the radio, doing word searches and reading. It doesn't have to be too complicated, everything is fun! Because of her epilepsy, she sometimes walks a little unsteadily and uses a walker and cycles on a tricycle. Tension and stress can cause her to have a stomach ache. Of course, you will be trained in this by her supervisors.
What does Corrie ask?
Corrie is looking for a buddy who wants to visit her. Someone different from supervisors and group members. Someone who comes especially for her to do accessible little things with.
Have a cup of coffee together in our Brasserie, go to the shops, go outside; everything is nice.
No preference for a man or woman or age, just someone who comes along.
The day, frequency and time will be discussed in consultation.
