Summary
Samantha is a sweet, quiet woman with an intellectual disability. She deserves some fun around her. Do you have 2 hours to spare per month?Detailed description
Who is Samantha?
Samantha is a 39-year-old woman with a moderate intellectual disability. She lives in a residential group just next to the residential care park of 's Heeren Loo, where she receives 24-hour care. She is a calm, friendly lady. Not a big talker and she doesn't always understand everything that is asked. You communicate with her at the level of a 4 year old. But she is very independent. Occasionally, the guidance counselor has to draw her attention to something or help her. She has good mobility and is safe to drive. During the day she works at a factory and every other weekend she takes care of her mother. In her spare time she likes to cycle or walk. She is very sweet and grateful and sometimes misses the fun around her that she deserves!
What does Samantha ask?
Samantha is looking for a volunteer who will come especially for her once or twice a month on weekends. It doesn't have to be long, 1.5 hours is already very nice. Someone who can cycle or walk with her and then get a nice cup of coffee somewhere. She also really likes dogs, so maybe take the dog for a walk. She prefers a woman between 40 and 70 years old, but everyone is welcome to respond. Do you like walking and cycling just like Samantha? Then we would like to meet you!
