In two interactive evenings we will introduce you to the most important tasks of the secretary at an association or foundation.Detailed description
You are considering becoming secretary at your association or foundation, or you already have this role. This means that you, together with the other board members, have the task of steering your organization in the right direction. How do you do that? If you want to know more about how to fulfill your role and exchange experiences with other administrative (aspiring) secretaries, this training is for you.
What can you expect?
In two interactive evenings, Christel van Reekum and Wim Tamboer will introduce you to the most important tasks of a secretary. This will provide you with practical tools to properly shape your position as secretary. There is also plenty of room for personal input and intervision. Topics covered include:
- Dealing with correspondence
- Reporting / taking minutes
- Divide tasks with other volunteers
- Archiving
About the trainers
The training will be given by Christel van Reekum and Wim Tamboer. Together they have already offered the training several times. Both have extensive experience in the 'trade'. Christel as Management Assistant at the Municipality of Apeldoorn, as former secretary at KDO Apeldoorn and current secretary at the Van Reekum Foundation. Wim, among other things, served as secretary of the Interest Organization for Amateur Football Associations. He is also a member of the former members committee at CSV Apeldoorn.
Location
Stimenz's head office: Prins Willem-Alexanderlaan 1419 in Apeldoorn (left of Dijkgraaf). Stimenz is located on the first floor. The entrance at the rear is open in the evening. There are also plenty of parking spaces here and there is a bicycle shed.
Dates and time
The training consists of two evenings and will take place on Monday 18 and Monday 25 November from 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM.

Fifteen minutes before the start.
NB:
Christel and Wim provide this training on a voluntary basis and we are very happy with that! All our training courses are also offered free of charge and we would like to keep it that way. Are you unable to attend this evening after your registration? Please let us know in time. Not only for us and for others who would like to get a spot at this evening, but certainly for our volunteer trainers!
