For driving in a wheelchair bus, we are looking for a driver who is safe on the road and who wants to go along with department trips.Detailed description
As a volunteer driver on the wheelchair bus, you must be safe on the road.
The acceptance procedure includes a test drive!
You will be deployed as a voluntary driver, in consultation and according to schedule, possibly on Monday, Wednesday or Friday. Incidentally, there may be a trip during the weekend.
It is important that you have a good back, because of securing the wheelchairs with resident in the wheelchair bus.
You will also accompany the trip as a supervisor and enjoy having a chat with the elderly.
It is nice if you are flexible, to take over a bus ride from a colleague volunteer driver in consultation in case of calamities.
If necessary, you can map out a route.
You can work independently and take responsibility.
The wheelchair bus provides trips for residents of Casa Bonita and associated small outdoor locations.
As a volunteer you are insured during your deployment, you receive an annual Christmas gift and you can participate in a party for employees and volunteers as a thank you for your efforts.
You can declare any travel expenses.
You can also become a member of our active staff association.
