Summary

HOW do you write a text to recruit volunteers or visitors, for example? WHAT do you say and what do you leave out? WHICH words do you choose?

Detailed description

In this workshop you will discover how you can get better texts if you consider in advance why you are going to write. What is your goal, your target group and your core message? What makes your organization special and what makes the vacant position interesting? We will briefly discuss this theory using a few examples.

Then you will write a promotional text yourself. You will receive personal feedback. It is best to take a current text from your own organization with you, then you will learn the most.

During the workshop we mainly look at texts to recruit volunteers. Of course, you can then apply the knowledge to everything you write, such as press releases, texts for websites and flyers, and even for speeches. With a bit of luck, you will enjoy writing more after this workshop.

The trainer is Annemarie Barbier, copywriter and writing coach from her company Bergamot text & training. She is personal, clear and careful in both her texts and her way of working.
