Do you support a resident and would you like to learn how to motivate that person to take action? You will learn this in this 2-evening course.
Giving good advice usually has little effect. Unsolicited advice is completely useless. No matter how well-intentioned you are; your solution works for you, but it doesn't necessarily fit someone else. It works much better when people come to the realization that they want to change something and think of a first step in the right direction. And with the right method, you can help with that!
Jansje van Middendorp provides Motivational Interviewing workshops. This is a way of talking and asking questions that brings out what motivates the other person. You can use this method in all kinds of situations. Whether you are raising your teenager or coaching a colleague. And Jansje uses the method, for example, in her volunteer work for people who are in financial trouble.
This volunteer course consists of two evenings of 2 hours. We expect you to be present both evenings.
