About Stichting Vier het Leven

The Vier het Leven Foundation organizes film, theater, concert and museum visits for elderly people who often sit at home. They are guided from door to door and enjoy an arrangement where everything is arranged to go out carefree.
Vier het Leven has 2000 volunteers nationwide who provide personal guidance for the elderly. Each volunteer supervises a maximum of three elderly people per outing where "out together, enjoy together" is central. The power of Celebrate Life lies in customization and the removal of barriers. The volunteers pick up the elderly and bring them back home. Personal guidance, transport, entrance and refreshments: Vier het Leven takes care of it.
Vier het Leven has been active in Deventer since 2017, with 20 volunteers who accompany many elderly people to the theater.
