General
The Stichting Oranjefeesten Apeldoorn first saw the light of day in 1881 prior to the celebration of Princess Wilhelmina's first birthday. Since then it has developed into the current organization.
StOA currently has five board members and an advisor.
StOA and Stichting Centrum Evenementen Apeldoorn (SCEA) work closely together in the composition of the programming of Prinsennacht and Koningsdag. Buro PEER event management supports us with the application for an event permit + appendices, consultation with the municipality and the Safety Region about this (we are also there) and with the execution of the event.
StOA is affiliated with the Royal Association of Orange Societies (annual meeting in spring and Symposium in autumn) and the Heritage Platform Apeldoorn (meetings)
We also work together with, among others, the Koningskermis Organisation, the Apeldoorn Centre for Events Foundation, the Apeldoorn Centre Management, De Feestvrienden BV, the Apeldoorn Municipality (VNOG), the MAX.nl Internet Agency, Apeldoorn Partners, the Apeldoorn Centre for Contemporary Culture (ACEC), regional entrepreneurs (suppliers, catering industry, etc.)
As StOA we are responsible for the programs in the Beekpark (King's Day and Oranjepark (Prinsennacht and King's Day), the clothes market, recruitment and deployment of volunteers, recruitment and deployment of amateur artists and the logistics in the Beekpark. We receive support from De Feestvrienden BV, who mainly focus on the Oranjepark program and the clothes market. The King's Fair also falls indirectly under the StOA and is included in the King's Day Apeldoorn event permit. Punt Beheer en Exploitatie BV is responsible for the organization.
In addition, we are present at various commemorative moments. We lay a floral arrangement at the commemoration of the liberation of Apeldoorn (17 April 't Sluisje); at the memorial monument 30 April 2009 (29 April Loolaan) and at the commemoration of Liberation Day (4 May Oranjepark).
At the moment we still use the website k055.nl. We will replace this in the coming months with the website oranjefeestenapeldoorn.nl. We will adjust our FB and Insta account accordingly.
We have our own BV, the Dutch Orange Company.
StOA is affiliated with/uses the services of, among others, Buma/Stemra, DAS legal assistance, Apeldoornpaktaan (recruitment of volunteers), Vriesendorp en Gaade (DOC trademark registration), Chamber of Commerce, PEER (social media content and King's Day website), Ivo van Laarhoven (webmaster).
