About Stichting Jongerenactiviteiten Diepenveen
SJD is a foundation that was established in the spring of 2005 and which focuses on all young people in Diepenveen. SJD believes that these sociocultural activities in Diepenveen should receive attention on a structural basis. Because, according to the foundation, this has been insufficient to date. The foundation also offers young people the opportunity to organize these activities themselves. SJD stimulates and supports this. This support also applies to other initiatives for Diepenveense youngsters, which are aimed at socio-cultural activities in the broad sense of the word. We want to do this for those youth activities that are referred to in Deventer politics as “meaningful leisure activities”. We want to make these activities known to the Diepenveense young people. And thus realize a continuous series of activities. In addition, we want to support the volunteers who are involved in all these youth activities with their volunteer work. \ N \nActivities \n \nDay camp (5 days during the summer holidays; 250 young people, age group 3-8) · Youth café (monthly; 30 - 50 young people age 16-20 years) Children's disco (monthly; 120 - 150 young people age group 7 & 8) Palm Easter parade (annually; approx. 80 children age group 1-5) Teenage work (2 weekly, walk-in + themes; 20 - 50 young people age 12 up to 15 years) · Carpentry course (group 7 + 8).
