Summary
Thanks to you, the foundation is well represented online!Detailed description
Thanks to you, the foundation is well represented online! We have a beautiful website that you manage, maintain and regularly update. On our social media, you regularly post interesting messages for our various target groups. Furthermore, we can leave it to you to think of and implement creative ways to get more visitors to our digital channels.
What are your responsibilities?
- You ensure appropriate communication expressions within our house style, which contribute to the foundation's reputation. For this you have close contact with the board and the communication expert;
- You manage our website;
- You are involved in the (further) development of our website, in close coordination with our communications expert and the board;
- You keep our current social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin) up to date by regularly posting interesting messages that fit the target group. For this you also give tips to the volunteers on how they can provide additional interesting content. You also respond to any questions or other messages that we receive;
- You ensure that content to be posted meets SEO standards for internet search;
- You monitor developments around other social media channels and advise the board when we should focus on new or different channels to reach our target groups;
- Analyze and interpret user statistics and respond to them and implement changes where necessary;
- You attend the biannual general volunteer meetings as much as possible, as well as other activities and events.
We are looking for:
- Someone who identifies with and acts according to our core values: Reliable, helpful and committed;
- Someone with a heart for pet welfare;
- Someone with courage, who stands firm and dares to engage in discussions, both internally and externally;
- Someone with flexible availability (everything in consultation);
- Someone for a longer period of time (at least 6 months);
- Someone with a lot of passion and dedication.
What do we offer you?
- A great and rewarding volunteer position at a cool foundation with committed volunteers;
- Annual outings, presents and gatherings;
- You can take interesting courses and training for free through the Dierenlot Academy and other volunteer organizations;
- You are collectively insured through the municipality.
Does this appeal to you? Then contact us soon! We look forward to your response and would like to talk to you to discuss the possibilities.

About Stichting Dierenvoedselbank Vallei & Veluwe
Animal Food Bank Vallei en Veluwe is a charity that has been advocating for people in that region since 2016 who, together with their pet(s), live below the poverty line and are therefore unable to fully feed and maintain their pet(s). A group that often lives in social isolation and for whom the pet is of great emotional value.
We provide additional pet food and pet supplies so that owners can keep and care for their pets responsibly. We also help our customers with advice, information and education, and we mediate where necessary.
With a helpful, reliable and committed team of volunteers, we work regionally from our distribution locations in Wageningen, Ede, Renkum, Rhenen and Veenendaal. This has prevented more than 500 farewells between owner and pet for financial reasons in recent years. Animal food bank Vallei en Veluwe is a non-profit organization, but it does have ANBI status.
