Detailed description
Support with activities in and around the museum and elsewhere on location. This concerns, for example, craft activities, beach excursions, providing information in a stand at the Harbor Festival or another event.
What are you going to do?
- You help organize the activity or set up the stand in a group
- You think along about what is needed and help collect materials
- You do the implementation or assist with this
- There is usually also an activity at a stand, a game or something like crafts. You then help with that.
- You provide information about the Pieter Vermeulen Museum, tell what exhibition is currently there, answer questions, advertise the PVM
- You tidy up and ensure that all items are returned to their place
You do all this as a member of a group of volunteers.

About Pieter Vermeulen Museum
As humans we have a major impact on nature and the environment. We are increasingly confronted with climate change. At the same time, we see attempts by humans to adapt to this, increasing the tension between humans, nature and the economy. Awareness, triggered by education (knowledge) is of crucial importance here. As a museum, PVM offers a neutral platform in which the major issues we struggle with can be discussed. Different visions, facts, theories and solutions can be viewed and discussed. By learning about this and becoming aware of your own impact on the environment, you can answer the question for yourself: what role can and do I want to play in this? Contributing to this process is central to PVM's vision and mission.
