Our association has 69 members. The treasurer keeps the cash book: write down contributions and expenses. In addition, draw up the balance sheet and budget.
Our department is part of the national association and we hope to celebrate our 110th anniversary in 2026. The members pay the contribution annually. We offer a monthly meeting 10 times a year, have a cycling club, a lunch club, a dining club, go to the movies and visit museums.
Our members are on average over 75+ and we are looking for board members. A treasurer is currently the most important. In order to continue as an association, a treasurer is also necessary. Without a treasurer, we are forced to stop the association.
We are a small association and most of the work takes place at the beginning of the new year, collecting the contribution. At the end of the year, collecting all receipts etc. to close the cash book, draw up the balance, invite the audit committee and draw up the budget. The treasurer takes a seat on the board and is registered with the KvK for this purpose.
