Music, romance, agriculture, the Hoofdige Boer and poems. These are a few themes that are discussed in the museum. They connect the time in which Staring lived with the present. For example, the ideas he had about how the land could be worked and inhabited better were of great importance. And the tea dome on the Berkel River, built by daughter Constantia, has been a favorite destination for walkers and cyclists since its restoration in 2004.
