Volunteer for women's shelter in Apeldoorn

Moviera stands for tackling domestic violence. We have various shelters where we offer shelter and assistance to people who have been affected by domestic violence. The goal is to regain independent living. Moving from the shelter to your own home is a big job and if someone has a small network, help from someone else is important.

You own a car and/or are handy with DIY. How often you can help someone depends on whether that person gets their own home. So it is a plus if you are flexible. It is also nice if you do the DIY together and can even teach something to the new owner of the home.

We ask

• You enjoy helping people and teaching others about DIY.
• You are available for a longer period of time (at least 3 months).
• You are reliable, independent and friendly.
• You must have a sense of the vulnerability of our target group and also be able to set boundaries.
• You are able to provide a Certificate of Good Conduct and provide a reference
• You can endorse the organization's code of conduct
• You can provide a Certificate of Good Conduct (reimbursed by Moviera) and provide a reference.
