Summary
Will you come and do fun activities with the residents of Het Hoogeland in Beekbergen? Drinking coffee, playing billiards or cycling on the new side-by-side tandem. Everything is possible!

What are you going to do?
We are looking for someone who enjoys doing fun activities with our residents. Such as: walking, cycling, billiards, chess or another game. A lot is possible as long as our clients and you have a good time. There is a duo bike, tandem, billiard table and a cupboard full of games.
As a volunteer at IrisZorg you can really make a difference in the lives of our clients, simply by doing fun things together and 'being there'.
What do you get in return?
Of course you also get a lot in return for your enthusiastic efforts. You meet interesting people, each with their own special story. You are of great importance to their recovery. This way you experience how fun and useful it is to dedicate yourself to our clients. But we also ensure that you can perform your volunteer work properly. We offer guidance, training, insurance, clear agreements laid down in a volunteer agreement and a volunteer allowance.
Who are you?
You are open to life. Without judgment you can empathize with others. You are reliable and you are able to establish a nice contact with our clients. If necessary, you can also be clear and indicate your limits. You know how to activate and enthuse someone in a natural way.
You are available at least one half day per week.
Who are we?
The Hoogeland in Beekbergen
Iriszorg Het Hoogeland is a sheltered housing facility where residents and also a number of clients from elsewhere have a (work-related) daytime activity. It is a special place where people from different backgrounds live from social shelter.

About IrisZorg - Het Hoogeland Beekbergen
IrisZorg is there for young and old and for all layers of the population. We are there for people who have problems in the field of finances, relationships, work or (mental) health. Usually in combination with an addiction and/or (imminent) homelessness. We support clients towards recovery from integral addiction treatment and social counseling. We can use your help as a volunteer with that.
As a volunteer at IrisZorg you make meaningful contact with people with a vulnerable and special background. We see the people behind the addiction, homelessness and other problems. Everyone has their own story. Do you want to support people to get a better grip on their lives? Are you the bridge to the outside world for them, so that they can participate in society again?
