What are you going to do

We are looking for someone who can repair broken clothing for our residents. This concerns smaller repairs such as laying a seam, stitching a seam, or installing a new zipper. Repairs that residents cannot do themselves, but that are extremely important for the well-being and care of the residents. This also makes clothing last longer, which improves sustainability.

This is you

You are handy with thread and needle and/or the sewing machine and have an open mind about life.

You like to 'just' let what happens happen and can respond to the resident's request on the spot. You can empathize with others without judgment. You are reliable and you are able to establish pleasant contact with residents. You know how to activate and enthuse residents in a natural way. If necessary, you can also be clear and indicate your boundaries.

Where do we go from here

After your registration, there will be an introductory meeting where we would like to hear from you who you are, what your hobbies are and what makes you happy. If we think we can help each other, we discuss further details and frequency.

If you have become enthusiastic, please register. After your registration, there will be an introductory meeting in which we will also tell you about IrisZorg, the Hoogeland location and the house in question. If there is mutual agreement, we will arrange a first meeting.
