The Humanitas Home Administration project focuses on the growing number of people who have little or no ability to keep their own finances in order.
The Humanitas Home Administration project focuses on growing number of people who are unable or hardly able to keep their own finances in order. Bills are no longer paid and options such as compensation are not used. Support is needed to prevent worse.
The approach is accessible and personal, with the intention that those who are helped will be able to do it alone within the foreseeable future. There is currently room for expansion in our Parkstad team and that is why we are looking for you to strengthen our team as:
Volunteer Home Administration (m/f)
As a volunteer
· support the participant in getting the papers in order
· you support the participant in identifying income and expenditure
· give you tips and advice to balance income and expenditure and keep it in balance
· give you tips and advice for a more structured approach to money management
· refer you to agencies that can help with applying for income support or remissions and/or debt assistance
· you work at the participant's home
· are you willing to invest at least 2 hours per week (depending on the number of your participants).
What do we ask:
· you have an affinity and/or experience with administrative matters and basic knowledge of the relevant legislation and regulations
· you have respect and are open to other norms and values
· you can properly monitor the confidential information about the participant
· you are able to question your own work and actions and are open to feedback
· you can guide and advise
· you have sufficient social skills
· you have a good command of the Dutch language, both written and oral
· you can put the participant's interests first
· you put the Humanitas values into practice
· you can submit a declaration of conduct (VOG).
