Summary
We are looking for a buddy who will listen and provide company for a young woman with low self-esteem.Detailed description
For a woman, born in 1977, we are looking for a female buddy (with life experience) with whom she can talk, walk or play board games. She has experienced a lot in her life and has developed a negative self-image because of this. That makes her insecure, she thinks that 'she can't do anything'. She is looking for a relaxing and light contact and wants to do fun things with her buddy.
Job requirements:
- you are open-minded and do not judge quickly
- you can listen well
- you can take initiative and give the other person space to take the initiative
- you inspire, encourage, but do not direct
What do we offer the volunteer:
- link to a participant with whom you click
- expert guidance and support
- an enthusiastic team of volunteers
- mutual exchange of experiences
- training, team meetings and meetings
What makes the work worthwhile:
As a buddy you really make a difference for a fellow human being. Together you do fun, positive things, which the participant needs and which you both enjoy and get satisfaction from. The contact with the participant is also an enrichment for your own life.

Humanitas Contact Keeping is for people who like to go outside every now and then, but are no longer able to do so without a buddy. By undertaking activities with a buddy, they can (again) maintain better contact with society.
