You can enjoy cycling in and around the municipality of Apeldoorn. Unfortunately, this beautiful area is only accessible to a limited extent for residents who are less mobile. While it is extra nice to go outside, to keep moving and to be among people.“Bicycle Buddies” is a (national) initiative that enables anyone who is not (or no longer) able to cycle independently to set out on an (electrically assisted) side-by-side tandem with a bicycle buddy (bicycle volunteer). At the moment, side-by-side tandems are often only available for residents of institutions, but Fietsmetjes also makes them accessible to people who still live at home.
The wind in your hair. Cycling your favorite route from the past. Thanks to the pedal support, this can be done according to your own ability. On the way nice contact with your cycling buddy who is sitting next to you. We believe that Cycling Buddies in the Apeldoorn region should not be missing.
