In four steps to a conversation with clarity and empathy
Listening without prejudice. Having very different opinions and still being able to get along. That is what we all want. And in practice it often turns out to be quite difficult. In nonviolent communication, developed by the American psychologist Marshall Rosenberg, you do not only focus on visible behavior, but also on mutual feelings and needs. To do this, it is necessary to first look at yourself. And then you get to know 'the jackal' and 'the giraffe' in yourself. During this workshop we will learn the four steps you need to communicate nonviolently and connectingly in a mix of theory and practice.
The following topics will be discussed:
- The steps to achieve nonviolent communication
- The characteristics of giraffe and jackal
- the distinction between involvement and influence
