Who are we?
We are a friendly team who work in a residential group for people with severe multiple disabilities. This house is located in our residential care park in 's Heeren Loo. The ages of these 7 people are between 40 and 80 years and have a level comparable to a toddler. They are completely dependent on our care. They not only have an intellectual disability, but also a physical and sometimes sensory disability. It requires a different way of looking and acting. You learn what sounds someone makes when he/she is relaxed or does not like something. A pleasant and safe atmosphere is very important. We always say what we do and do what we say.
The clients love 1 on 1 time such as a nice walk in the wheelchair, a beauty treatment, music, cycling on the wheelchair bike, etc.
What do we ask?
Due to the complex care, we are always very busy. Four clients cannot eat independently, so a meal takes a lot of time. It would be great if someone could help with this. This way you have more time and a meal is more relaxed. But help with a nice walk through our residential care park or another activity would also be very nice. Someone who is sweet, patient and takes the time to get to know us.
We are looking for someone who can come and support us for a few hours at least once a week. On both weekdays and weekends. Both in the morning and in the evening. Everything is negotiable.

Think of taking a walk, playing a game or just having a good conversation while enjoying a cup of coffee.
