For an activity for the Baby and Toddler Library in the bblthk I am looking for creative people who want to help me make 16 sock puppets. This can be knitted by yourself or made from a single sock. See photo as an example.
It would be nice if we had different sock puppets, with their own look. The activity it is intended for is for babies from 5 months to toddlers of 2 1/2 years. For this target group, clear shapes are important, such as big eyes or a nice pattern on the sock. Preferably with as few small loose parts as possible. We want to use them multiple times, so they have to be firmly put together.
Would you like to help with this, please do! And who knows, you might come with your own child or grandchild to the Baby and Toddler Library, which starts in December and you can do the activity with your own doll.
There is no rush but it would be nice to have them all by the end of January.
