The first World Shop in the Netherlands is located in Breukelen in the atmospheric monumental Fire Spray House on the Kerkplein.
To strengthen our board, we are looking for a volunteer who is willing to work as treasurer for fair trade.
The duties of the treasurer include:
- Taking care of the bookkeeping (e-bookkeeping)
- Periodic payments to suppliers
- Billing to customers
- Taking care of the monthly reports
- Prepare VAT returns (quarterly)
- Drawing up annual figures (part of the annual report)
- Prepare annual budget
- Manage bank accounts
- Arranging insurance matters
- Stock inventory
The board meets approximately five times a year, and we also hold an employee meeting several times a year.

Working hours, frequency and duration:
On average about 4 hours a week.
General:
You will be part of a small organization with enthusiastic and committed volunteers who work day after day to keep our Wereldwinkel running and thus make a small contribution to fair trade.
Induction method and guidance:
You will be trained by the current treasurer.
Expense allowance: No expense allowance.
