Telephone operator on Monday morning at Versa Vrijwillige Thuishulp (VTH)

The VTH telephone exchange is served by a team of motivated, pleasantly cooperating volunteers. We are looking for a supplement. The work of the telephonists consists of: Accepting the help requests for volunteer aid by telephone and mediating to one of our volunteers, possibly contacting other volunteer aid organizations, entering information in the computer, acquainting yourself with the social map, keeping a log. As a telephonist you work in the morning from 10-13 am in a team of 2 or 3 volunteers.

Working hours: At least on Monday morning, in addition it is nice if someone can also do a shift on Thursday or Friday.

Special Conditions: We are looking for someone who: is pleasant to deal with and cooperates with, can handle the telephone and computer well, has affinity with the target group and with volunteers (work), can work independently and in a team, lives in Hilversum or Laren. It needs time to be properly trained, so we are looking for someone who wants to commit for at least a year after the mutual trial period.

Training method and guidance: Guidance by the coordinator, training with gradually more tasks is done by your direct colleagues, there are about 8 team meetings per year.
