Coordinator of the Havenpark vegetable garden

Right in the centre, hidden among the fruit trees, flowers and vegetables, lies a small house.

From this location, 40 volunteers work in the vegetable garden every week (on Wednesday and Thursday mornings). Activities are also regularly organised. It is also the place where all the vegetable gardeners meet on Wednesday and Thursday mornings for coffee and soup.

For this place we are looking for someone who finds it a challenge to get started in a pleasant and green environment. Coordinating in the vegetable garden means working together with the other volunteers in the vegetable garden and making decisions that make the vegetable garden grow every season. As a coordinator you also sometimes have contact with organizations in the neighborhood. Such as the municipality of Apeldoorn, the neighborhood council, Omnizorg and local residents. From the welfare organization Stimenz there is a social worker to support these activities. The vegetable garden and surroundings are also used for activities in the neighborhood, for which Stimenz is a permanent partner of the vegetable garden.
