We seek expertise in the use of digital tools, either PCs / laptops with Windows or with Apple, Android tablet or smartphone, iPhone or iPad, to teach seniors over 50 years of age in the use of these digital tools.
We expect you to be motivated to pass on your knowledge to newcomers in the digital world.
You are communicative and you have a lot of patience.
As a teacher, you and a colleague teach a group of max. 8 people. Group lessons are given in the recently renovated Blaercom (Blaricum). Our teachers also give personal lessons (1-on-1).
We expect you to be available at least one half day per week in the period from January to April and from mid-September to mid-December.
As a teacher you will also become an ambassador of SeniorWeb. In addition to support from our team, you will also receive educational and technical support from SeniorWeb.
Our organization has existed for 22 years, our enthusiastic team consists of 11 volunteers.

SeniorWeb Laren-Blaricum is affiliated with the national association SeniorWeb.

For over 22 years we have been giving computer lessons to seniors (50+) in Laren. Our training program is continuously adapted to developments in the market for PCs, Smartphones and tablets for consumers. At the moment our course offer consists of PC, Smartphone and Tablet courses (iPhone, iPad and Android). We provide courses for beginners and advanced students.
A maximum of 10 students are admitted to the PC courses. For the Smartphone and Tablet courses a maximum of 8. There are always two teachers present.
All lessons are taught at a leisurely pace.
Our course location is from 1 September 2020: De Blaercom, Schoolstraat 3, 1261 EV Blaricum.
For Windows PC courses we have our own Laptops with Windows 10. For Smartphone, Tablet and Apple courses, students bring their own system.
