Debt Coordinator

The Stichting Platform Poverty Combat Heerhugowaard (PAH) is a foundation that makes it possible for Schuldhulpmaatje to be active within the municipality of Dijk en Waard.

The number of people dealing with debt is too high. Debt relief buddies are selflessly committed to helping people get out of debt.

The executive activities are carried out by two coordinators. Under their leadership, certified debt help buddies are deployed to support those seeking help in preventing or solving their financial challenge. The free help is for anyone who has to deal with (imminent) debts. Religion, origin, sexual orientation and political preference play no part in this.

A vacancy has recently arisen for the position of Volunteer Coordinator Debt Relief Buddy

Together with your colleague coordinator you have the following tasks:

· intakes with both new debt help buddies and help seekers;

sounding board and coach for the buddies;

· management of the network with various settings;

· realization and improvement of the service;

· provision of information to the board about the activities/results for reporting purposes.

Familiarity with Langedijk's network is an advantage.

We are looking for someone who: is honest, reliable and enthusiastic, feels involved with the target group and does not distinguish between religion, race or orientation. Who can listen well, communicate and think innovatively. Who can spend about 8 hours a week on voluntary work and is also available during the day.

A VOG must be submitted. Training is taken care of. We assume knowledge of the computer.
