Event assistance coordinators Kennemerland

Do you keep a cool head and do you like events? Do you like working with motivated volunteers? Then we are looking for you! At very large and smaller events, the Red Cross offers first aid with our own trained first aiders.

With many volunteers we man the first aid posts at events, such as the Haarlem Baseball Week, the flower parade and a party week. To ensure that all our volunteer aid workers in the Kennemerland district know where they are needed and what is expected of them at events, we are looking for several:

Event assistance coordinators, Kennemerland district (volunteer)

District Kennemerland consists of three locations: Zuid-Kennemerland (Haarlem and surroundings), IJmond (Velsen and surroundings) and Haarlemmermeer (Hoofddorp and surroundings). The team of event coordinators Kennemerland is jointly responsible for the planning and organization of the various events within the district and divides tasks among themselves.

What are you going to do?

· You are the point of contact for organizations looking for assistance at events and you maintain contact;

· You create scripts, letters of commitment and quotes and you arrange the administrative handling of practical and logistical matters. Afterwards you evaluate the event and signal bottlenecks;

· You ensure that there are sufficient suitable volunteers who can be deployed at these events. This is done in consultation with your fellow coordinators and the emergency services coordinator.

· You conduct introductory interviews with new care providers and provide guidance during their deployment.

· You contribute to a professional and uniform process of event assistance in coordination with your fellow coordinators and the assistance coordinator;

What are we asking?

· You are 25 years or older and/or have relevant work experience, speak and write good Dutch (B2 level) and have at least an MBO work and thinking level;

· You are accurate, stress-resistant and have good organizational and communication skills;

· You have a 'hands on' mentality and the ability to improvise;

· You are in possession of the extended first aid certificate or are willing to obtain it;

· You can work with various computer systems and have your own computer at your disposal;

· You live in or around Haarlem, Velsen or Hoofddorp
