We are now active in 14 cities and visit hundreds of elderly people throughout the Netherlands every week. Our goal is to make as many elderly people happy as possible and you can help us with that! We currently organize various activities throughout the Netherlands every week.
Cooking days
During our old-fashioned cozy Cooking Days, we spend an afternoon making soup together with elderly people in community centers or day care centers and eating it together. Vegetables are used that would otherwise be thrown away. The Cooking Days are organized at different locations and participation lasts about 2-3 hours. An afternoon full of board games, many tall tales, even more jokes... and of course delicious soup.
Soup-at-home days
With the Soup-at-home days we reach the elderly who need company the most. Every week we bring bags full of our delicious soup, a motivational card and a surprise to the homes of elderly people in your area with all the volunteers. This is mainly about the visit and having a chat. The Soup-at-home day is organized weekly from a fixed location and participation takes about 2-3 hours. Your smile, nice chat or short contact moment can make a world of difference for our elderly.
