Do you enjoy DIY and do you want to support us?

Activities are carried out together with a work supervisor from the daytime activities, who is present at the workplace or in the vicinity to provide support. Our service team consists of 6 clients.

You will carry out odd jobs together with the clients and work supervisor within the homes of Sint Anna, (Heel, Roermond / Weert) and the ambition is to also approach residents of Heel and surroundings when they have a job. Think about:

• Disassemble furniture / small removals / assemble Ikea cupboards.

• Take bulky waste to the recycling center

• Mounting, dismantling and hanging lamps up all kinds of hanging work, paintings, waste bins or soap dispensers.

• Spray the terrace with high pressure

• Repair work on the paving.

• Garden work.

• Painting work.

• Closing holes in walls.

A bus is available to go to the various locations.

It is possible to work in a calm manner: if the job is not finished today, we will continue tomorrow. We respect the measures of the RIVM in preventing and combating the Corona virus.

Working hours are: Monday morning from 08:30 to 12:30 and Thursday from 08:30 to 12:00 and from 13:00 to 16:00 or parts thereof. Everything in consultation.

We offer volunteer work in an open organization, where the contribution of each volunteer matters. Volunteers can really mean something for the clients, you often provide that little bit of extra attention and contribute to the quality of life. Working as a volunteer at St. Anna is fun, rewarding, you make new contacts and offers the opportunity to gain experience in working with mentally handicapped people. In addition to an introduction and a tour, we also apply a travel allowance, an attention scheme and insurance for volunteers. But you will be told all about this in the first oriented conversation.
