Joosje en Elvy zitten in groep 3 en 4 en zouden graag met iemand na schooltijd samen een kopje thee drinken en een spelletje spelen of oefenen met woordjes lezen. Omdat zij nog een zus van 9 jaar hebben met een chronische ziekte gaat er veel zorg en aandacht naar de zus. Deze situatie is al lang gaande en daarom zijn de zusjes extra blij als er iemand speciaal na schooltijd voor hun langs kan komen. Kom jij met de meiden thee drinken en spelletjes spelen op dinsdag of donderdagmiddag?

As a volunteer at Handjehelpen you help children and adults with disabilities at home.
You can choose from different types of volunteer work. From "simple" volunteer work to help that requires specific knowledge or experience. The help is given one on one. That means that you have your "own" client who visits you in his or her house. Our volunteer work is aimed at social contact for a somewhat longer period. Where necessary, we help, support and guide you.
If you have no experience with people with a disability, then that is no problem. We look at a question that suits you. In addition to individual counseling, there is an extensive training and counseling offer to follow. And a no-obligation conversation with a Handjehelpen coordinator is always possible. We hope to hear from you.
Handjehelpen works in the province of Utrecht and Weesp in North Holland
