Summary
We zijn op zoek naar iemand die reptielen wil tellen op de Limitische Heide. Dit gaat volgens een vaste route in de periode april-september.Detailed description
De reptielenwerkgroep inventariseert het voorkomen van verschillende reptielensoorten in de natuurgebieden in het Gooi. Dit gaat via een landelijk meetnet om trends in het voorkomen van soorten te kunnen volgen.
Op de Limitische Heide komen veel levendbarende hagedissen voor. Daarom wordt op deze plek al jaren geteld, maar de huidige teller stopt wegens gezondheidsredenen. We zoeken iemand die de telroute over wil nemen. De vorige teller helpt graag met inwerken dus het is ook geschikt voor een beginnende teller.
Het gaat om een vaste route die 7 keer geteld wordt in de periode eind maart tot en met september. Je bepaalt zelf wanneer je op stap gaat; wel is het handig daarin flexibel te kunnen zijn vanwege weersomstandigheden. Reptielen tellen gaat het beste bij droog en zonnig weer.

The Gooisch Natuurreservaat Foundation was established in 1932 with the aim (article 2 of the statutes):
• the preservation of the natural beauty in the Gooi through the acquisition of the sites located there, in order to preserve it forever as a nature reserve, and
• to ensure to the public, by having free access to those sites under provisions that may be stipulated, the enjoyment of that natural beauty
The above formulation is included in the articles of association and forms the basis for the organisation's thinking and actions.
