We are transforming an alleyway to an underwater world with an environmental message - and need your help!
Detailed description
As part of our ongoing @colormesxm project and in collaboration with Plastic Free SXM, we are painting an entire alleyway!
Date: Saturday, March 8, 2025
Time: 7:00am (please be on time for instructions) - 11:00am
Location: We will gather at Afloop Steeg, Philipsburg. At the end of the alley on the boardwalk, near Double Dutch Cafe / Seaview Pool & Bar.
The mural is designed by artists Nascha Kagie & Daphne Prevoo, but due to the large size, they will need lots of help to complete it. We are looking for volunteers ages 17+ and up to come help paint.
A few things to keep in mind:
*wear closed shoes and clothing that can get dirty
*wear sun-protection such as sunscreen and a hat
*photos and videos will be taken to promote the project
We will gather at Afloop Steeg, Philipsburg. At the end of the alley on the boardwalk, near Double Dutch Cafe / Seaview Pool & Bar. Light refreshments will be available.
